Programs Offered
Recreation:
The recreational program is considered a learning program. The philosophy is for players to develop a love for the game of soccer while learning new skills and having fun with new friends.
The recreational program is for all players, whether new or experienced, from ages 2-19. Registration for the recreational level is open to all boys and girls to play. No tryouts are held in recreational soccer. The recreational teams are coached by volunteers, usually a parent of one of the team players. Registration fees include Includes Uniform (shirt, shorts and socks)
Academy:
Academy programs are competitive select soccer programs designed for younger players for the U09, U10, U11, and U12 age groups. Teams are formed using tryouts, though the primary objective of these programs is player development.
The CUSC Academy program is designed for players who are ready to take the next step in their soccer development in a fun, competitive, and professional environment.
It provide players with a foundation of the skills necessary to succeed at the highest levels. The Academy training program’s curriculum follows the guidelines and recommendations of the Georgia State Soccer Association and United States Soccer Federation.
All teams are trained by professionally licensed coaches who continually strive to provide a learning environment where all players can succeed. The mission of CUSC's Academy program is to provide youth soccer players in our community with a comprehensive complement of opportunities to advance their technical soccer skills in preparation for future success in the Select (U13-U19) age groups and beyond.
Select:
These programs are for the competitive player in age groups U13 to U19. These teams are formed by tryouts, players are cut, and the focus is split between development and competition.
The CUSC U13-U19 Select program is designed to offer players with the highest level competitive club soccer. Our teams compete at the top-level of the Georgia Soccer Classic and Athena leagues, and for regional opportunities.
Our Select program provides a solid foundation of training and development for serious competitive players to excel to the apex of his or her ability. The program emphasizes the progression of soccer skills necessary to prepare and advance players to higher-level programs such as regional leagues, collegiate, semi-professional, and professional soccer
